CafePress is a privately held corporation located in San Leandro, California. They provide a service that allows companies, individuals, and groups to sell a wide variety of merchandise without the typical overhead and challenges of doing business online.

We provided a variety of consulting services to this corporate client, including article writing and search engine marketing.

Work Completed

CafePress is the industry leader in print on demand e-commerce. They allow anyone to setup an online store with zero up front costs. CafePress handles all store creation, product printing, online payment processing, hosting, fulfillment, and customer service. They recoup their fees through a "base price" that they set on each product, your profit comes by setting your retail sell amount above that "base price".

CafePress currently hosts over 600,000 shops, and has a member base in the hundreds of thousands. We worked closely with the CafePress team to author informative articles to be featured in their member newsletter. These articles covered important topics such as store promotion, proper use of META tags, and search engine submission tips.

We also worked closely with the CafePress development team to help them create more search engine friendly storefront pages for their shopkeepers. Since CafePress already had a highly trained staff of developers and designers, our job was to work with them and share our tips to help increase their site presence in the major search engines.
